LEADERSHIP

With over 20 years of activity, Luca Giglio - Founder & CEO of GIGLIOART, is a visionary business owner, passionate and expert interlocutor on the international art scene of the twentieth century, linked by solid relationships with some of the leading artists of the period.

 

Both his family contact with the Italian Superintendency of Fine Arts and a successful career as officer in the Italian Army have played a key role in Luca Giglio's personal training,  resulting in an the analytical rigor that finds fertile ground in the methodical collection of  modern and contemporary art.

 

Giglio's focus in to design an produce cultural events and institutional initiatives  that bring people closer to art, resulting in an innovative and pioneering approach for this sector, ultimately partnering with the most exclusive corporate and institutional realities.

 

A refined and strategic selection of the artists’s works is accompanied by an active management of them through events, exhibitions and co-branding, guaranteeing a growth in value.

MANAGEMENT

Our Collection Management service can be subdivided into the following categories

DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY

Art is a primary investment in the creation of short, medium and long term assets aimed at private collectors and institutional investors. As a result, our vision is structured through the following activities:

* Understanding the cultural, artistic and patrimonial purposes of the collection;

* Evaluation of the current and prospective collection’s profile based upon the owner’s artistic, cultural and financial affinities;

* Planning of valorisation activities.

* Researching  the history of individual artworks;

* Documentation of authenticity, origin and relative due diligence;

* Condition report;

* Cataloguing and photographic cataloging;

* Organization and coordination of logistical associated with individual collections and artworks;

* Management of all risk insurance;

* Periodic checks and evaluations.

* Sale and acquisition of artworks;

* Artist  Right's management and reproduction requests;

* Management of loan requests by public exhibitions and museums;

This is achieved by enhanching individual artworks or collaborations through the positioning of them in international exhibitions, museums, publication in catalogues, curatorial articles, press releases and corporation with corporate brands.

 

In-depth market studies and partnership with major brans allow for the development of special projects, aligning the  association of the brand itself with the social and cultural values of  art.
